Hi, I’m Robert
By day, I’m a fairly ordinary employee and entrepreneur; by night, you’ll find me in the virtual darkroom — and in between, I’m a full-time dad to two kids and a bonus dad to two wonderful daughters.
Family is my steady anchor in everyday life and, at the same time, my greatest motivation to keep moving forward — both professionally and personally.
Technology caught my attention early on — more precisely, back when the first crackling modem sounds made the internet feel like a real adventure. Since then, I’ve become something of an internet native: sometimes a nerd, sometimes a tinkerer, sometimes a bit chaotic, but always curious. I enjoy trying out ideas, breaking problems down, and finding new ways to make things simpler or smarter. You could say that automation isn’t just a gimmick for me — it’s a small passion.
Alongside technology, there’s another side of me: the creative one. With a camera in hand, I’m an amateur photographer — sometimes with more pixels than talent, but always with an eye for moments that fascinate me. Whether landscapes, details, or everyday snapshots, each image is a small piece of my world.
I’m also someone who likes to think independently and doesn’t blindly follow well-trodden paths. Perhaps that’s what makes me a problem-solver and idea tinkerer — someone who prefers to try things out rather than wait for ready-made solutions from elsewhere.
Although I’m a native German, I chose to present this site in English because photographs don’t really need a language — and English simply makes it easier for people from all over the world to connect with what I share, beyond borders and everyday routines.
And what else? Happily married for the second time, a taxpayer for what feels like forever, and a multi-OS chaos enthusiast (yes, everything runs in parallel here: Windows, macOS, Linux — why keep it simple when you can mix things up?).
In short: I’m a person with many roles, passions, and ongoing projects — and that’s exactly what makes life interesting.
